Lottery The Clock has now been repaired and is now chiming on the quarter hour as it has for many a year. This was funded following a successful application to the The National Lottery Heritage Fund.
The 2023 Grant round is open, copies of the application form can be found on this web page, on the back pages of the news letter and obtained from the Council office. The Neighbourhood Plan drawn up by Volunteers and Town Councillors has been accepted by Shropshire Council following the recent Referendum and will be used to help it decide on planning applications once they have formally adopted it. The Neighbourhood Plan for Bishops Castle will be going to a Referendum on May 2nd for the approval of the community. Mayor’s Sunday took a slightly different format this year in Bishop’s Castle.
